Program Overview
The Georgia Fatherhood Program was started in January 1777 in the state of Georgia and since then, the program has made many distinctive achievements. The Fatherhood program is administered by the Georgia Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) under the umbrella of the Department of Social Services (DHS) that educates and helps noncustodial parents of a child from going to court. The goal is to assist the parents in achieving self-sufficiency by providing employment opportunities to the parents so that they can provide support to their children. The program assists parents in providing financial, emotional, and other support to their kids and provides a stable family environment.

Program Requirements
They are certain requirements that the parents who enroll in the Fatherhood Program need to comply with to get the program’s benefits. The requirements include,

- The applicant is a permanent citizen of the U.S. or is a legal alien
